Hi ! I purchased usb advance and i burnt a game and put it on my usb hd then when I put my usb advance cd in ps2 it comes up with the game and i press start and just a black screen comes up and nothing else Do you know why this happens ? thankyou Please refer to the game compatible list on our site : http://forumhdadvancecom/hd_advance_compatibilityasp What We suggest is put a compatible game that are on our list and test it on your first trial and use of Hdavance and USB Hdadvance [ USBeXtreme ] My ps2 is model 70011 (canada), I understand that my usb ports are 11 My question is this: won't the transfer rate from the HD to the ps2 be very slow because the ps2 port is usb 11 ? Yes, HDAdvance will give you the option to format your HDD if it detects that it is not already formatted How fast are games transferred from the disc to the HDD? That depends on the media type and amount of data to be transferred The approximate maximum transfer rate for a CD is 700kb/second, and for DVD it is 15mb/second Please note that the transfer rate is not constant, it starts off slow and gets faster Can I still use my memory card to store gaved game data? Yes Will I need the HDAdvance disc inserted in my PS2 each time I wish to play a game from my HDD?
